Staying In Edinburgh

We have organised a wide range of accommodation options for your stay. We recommend you book early to ensure you do have a room for your conference stay. Edinburgh is an extremely popular tourist destination and the end of August is the busiest time of the year.

EPICOH 2017 has made arrangements to hold bedroom and apartments specifically for our needs. You will need to book directly with our booking partner, "Convention Edinburgh" for all hotels and apartments and who can place you in your preferred standard of hotel and within your required price range.  Prices start at £108 per room per night. Please note there is no need to pay until your arrival, so please arrange your hotels early without the need to arrange payment at time of booking.

If you have special requirements to arrive early or stay later then again we have a selection of hotels where we have set aside weekend rooms and apartments specifically to visit the Festival and/or undertake some tourism activities during your stay.

Please click on the booking link below to make your hotel or apartment booking or simply to ask a question about your stay. Please note this booking can be taken before your registration for the conference. However bookings will only be confirmed to those who later register as EPICOH 2017 delegates.

If you would prefer to book lower cost accommodation, then you can book via Edinburgh First, the student accommodation provider of the University of Edinburgh. Rates for Pollock Halls on the university campus start at £48 per person per night and include breakfast. This will be payable in advance and may be cancelled with a 90% refund up to 3 days before arrival. Again we strongly recommend early booking for August next year.

For the last seven years, Edinburgh has retained its position as the most popular UK city after London for hosting international association meetings.
