Registration

EPICOH 2017 aims to provide a high quality venue and programme over 3 days of plenary sessions, parallel sessions and mini-symposia and generally a very positive, stimulating, rewarding and welcoming experience for all delegates. When registering we recommend you consider booking your accommodation early and booking your place at the Gala Dinner. Edinburgh is a popular destination in late August.

Delegate Rates

Delegates rates are £470 (ICOH members) and £550 (Non ICOH members) per person when booked before 31st May 2017. A full list of rates including student discounts and developing country rates can be found in this section.  

SCOM 2017 will also take place alongside EPICOH 2017. One day rates are also found in this section.

Abstract Submissions

EPICOH 2017 is anticipating over 400 submissions for review by the Scientific Committee. Abstract submissions of c. 250 words can be received after 9th January 2017. Please use this link.  The closing date for abstracts has been extended to 9th April 2017.

Mini Symposia Applications

The call for mini symposia is now open and will close on 31st January 2017. We invite all applications to be sent to the Scientific Committee using the attached form by this date.

Applications should be no longer than 500 words, with an additional list of proposed talks and presenters. Please note that they should aim to last no longer than either 60, 90 or 105 minutes in total including discussion.

Download the application form and please send your submissions by email to minisymposia@epicoh2017.org by 31 January, in order for them to be decided upon by 28th February.  

Accompanying Persons

Should you be intending to travel with a partner, friend or colleague(s) who may not be attending as a delegate, your accompanying person is free to attend any social event including the gala dinner and take advantage of the special accommodation rates we have managed to obtain. The booking must however be made with your own delegate registration.

Social Programme

We are pleased to offer delegates a range of optional events from Monday 28th to Wednesday 30th August to help you enjoy your visit to Edinburgh and Scotland. This includes educational visits and social activities and networking opportunities. Of course, you are free to enjoy many of the other events that Edinburgh offers at this time and in particular the weekend before the conference from the world famous Military Tattoo and Fireworks to Festival events (street theatre and theatre productions) and general sightseeing and shopping.

Scholarships

Applications for Scholarships are now CLOSED.  The successful applicants will be notified by the 15th of May.

Workshops and Courses

EPICOH 2017 is now inviting applications for pre-conference EPICOH, SCOM or Modernet or other relevant courses or workshops to be held at the conference venue on Monday 28th August.

In order that we can provision your room requirements early then we would be grateful if you can apply to host a workshop or course by completing the form via this link.
Applications are open until the end of June 2017

Approved workshops will be added from July following the submission of requests.
